Before you can figure out where stress is making you tired, keep your body and mind one. Why? We are often so busy with many things on the outside that we forget to “take care” of the wounded inner soul, while the soul is the root that keeps you strong against the whirlwind of life. If this is too hard to imagine, imagine a tree, its roots deep in the ground that keep it strong against a tornado. You just need a few minutes of deep breathing, connecting your mind and body to create a solid “root”.
Now take a break from what you’re doing, sit down somewhere you feel comfortable, relax your hands on your thighs, close your eyes and take a deep breath from your diaphragm, slowly counting from 1 to 5. Sitting position This will help you calm down and feel everything as it is.
Step 2. Describe how you are feeling

When you have completely calmed down, ask yourself what are you feeling? Happy, frustrated, anxious or empty? Don’t blame yourself if you’re having negative emotions. The key in this second step is to relax and be honest with yourself so that you can tap into the specific emotions or feelings that are flooding your body. Am I worried, scared, or exhausted? That deep “ocean” of yours, slowly sink in, feel and describe it.
Step 3. Locate the stress

Have you ever been so scared that you felt your stomach and breath constrict? It is the physical manifestation of the pent-up emotions inside. Try to find and locate that feeling in your body.
Step 4. Associate stress with color

We often associate things with colors to make it easier to visualize. After locating the stress in you, bring it into your imagination, painting it the first color that pops into your head. Is that fear dark blue? Or is the panic light purple? Each person will have different colors for each feeling, emotion they have. As long as you calm down and feel, you will see the colors representing the ocean of your emotions.
Step 5. Let the stress melt away

When the stresses are finally named, located, and shown with specific color, it’s time to let the stress go away. Imagine the moment that heavy thing was pushed out of you. Can you feel it rising through your chest and out of your head like a mist or a dissolving cloud? Can you feel the serenity through your fingertips and feet?
Of course, everyone will have a different experience when doing this method. Feel for yourself and visualize that mass of emotions that make you tired more and more fading and dissolving. The ERM method reminds you that you have the power to reduce your stress: make a plan for what needs to be done and let go of the unimportant. So, whenever you feel .000000000000y a wave of stress is coming, such as fear when talking to others, don’t hesitate to try Emotion Reset – ERM method. Your body, mind, and heart will thank you for it.
