Did you know most Americans spend more than 10 hours a day looking at screens of electronic devices? Whether the reason is for work or pleasure, the negative impact will remain the same. Screen time not only disrupts sleep and increases fatigue, the information behind it can also be harmful.
On the other hand, nature is a healing therapy. Not only does it have a psychological effect such as clearing your mind and making you feel more meaningful in life, nature also has a myriad of physiological effects that help reduce feelings of stress or anger, improve your mood by enhancing Serotonin, promoting self-confidence and self-esteem. Just a 10-minute walk or planting trees around your habitat can make a difference.
The 20 minute method

The 20-minute technique, also known as the “Pomodoro technique,” is a way to ease the burden of responsibilities by breaking them down and resetting achievable goals. That way, you’ll accomplish your goals without procrastinating from day to day.
Think of the days when you just couldn’t find the motivation to set aside a time in the day for cleaning. Instead of seeing it as an entire day’s effort, try setting a 20-minute timer and get going. Do as much as you can in those 20 minutes and congratulate yourself when the time is up. 20 minutes go by very quickly and limiting the time will give you a sense of urgency. Plus, if this is an important goal, you’ll be amazed at all you can do in 20 minutes.
“Eat Frogs”
Mark Twain once said, “Eat a raw frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse can happen to you for the rest of the day.” It may sound confusing, but “frog” here is a metaphor for your most difficult, important task on your to-do list. This is the task you are most likely to procrastinate on, because you don’t even know where to start.
The best way to get out of this difficult task is to learn how… to solve it first. This is the key to growth and success. Choose the most important task as the first thing you need to tackle each morning. Once you’ve eaten the biggest “frog”, the other “frogs” aren’t so bad.

Everyone is busy making plans for the new year, adding things to their plans instead of spending time figuring out what they need to get rid of to make room for growth. Before you cultivate new habits, you need to analyze, evaluate, and choose what to stop next year.
Which relationship do you need to let go of? What insecurity do you need to leave behind? What obligation is draining you of no benefit? The more you let go of unnecessary things, the more relieved you will feel, your energy will also be more balanced to focus on new goals.
Enjoy your vacation
Work to live, not live to work. If you are passionate about your job, if you work a lot because you have no other choice, that’s okay, but in any case, you need time off. Many studies show that people who know how to fully enjoy their vacation are happier people, and even less prone to cardiovascular diseases.
When you return, your job is still there, no matter who you work for, they will only have to spend a short time in your absence. What you lose in return is your health, precious time with loved ones, energy and experiences you miss. Take some time to sit back and be alone in your thoughts. The effectiveness of reflection and mindfulness is an important part of building a healthy mind. To be able to work better, you need to step out of there and create work-life balance.
The 80/20 rule

If you think the key to getting to the top of your ladder in 2022 is finding balance, the 80/20 rule is the method for you. For example, in everything, expect only 80% success and be prepared to have 20% failure. Spend 80% of a week at work, but make sure to relax and unwind at least 20% of the time. 80% of the results will depend on 20% of the effort… You know. Let’s eliminate absolute expectations, accept relativity, multidimensionality, and embrace the surprises of life. That is the secret to your success.
